							<td><font size="-1" color="white" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The one booth that wasn't busy at the fair was the booth selling Olympic memorabilia.  The Olympics were still seven months away and the souvenirs were much more expensive than the average items people expected to buy at a fair.  </font>
								<p><font size="-1" color="white" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Most large public parks had official stores for Olympic souvenirs as did the major shopping centers. At larger banks you could find gold and silver Olympic symbols and statues of the mascots. Almost anywhere you went in Beijing, for months before the event, you could buy official souvenirs. This was the main method that the Beijing Olympic Committee had to offset expenses, other than ticket revenue.</font></p>
