							<td><font size="-1" color="white" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The four horses that pulled Chariot No. 2 were richly adorned with gold and silver fittings on their harnesses.  Examples of the harness decorations can be found on following pages.  You can see the umbrella roof of the carriage enclosure behind the horses.  The models were all half size replicas.  In real life that would mean that the carriage would stand about 7 feet from the ground.  That would give it a low center of gravity making it difficult to tip over.  By using an umbrella roof, the walls could be lower while still providing head room.  Keeping the walls low also helped to stabilize the carriage. </font></td>
