							<td><font size="-1" color="white" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Chariot No. 2 has a carriage enclosure behind the driver.  It is decorated with designs and patterns of clouds and geometric shapes.  The carriage is covered by an umbrella shaped roof.  It is suggested that it is symbolic of the sky, but symbolism may be in the eye of the beholder rather than the original intent.  The umbrella roof may have been used for the same reason that the first chariot sported an umbrella; it sheds rain nicely   The edges protrude sufficiently to provide cover for both the driver and the windows of the carriage.  The umbrella would provide welcome shade in the summer and prevent rain from soaking the emperor as he relaxed in the back.  </font></td>
