				Regular script<br />This sutra (or teaching) is central to Mahayana Buddhism. Vimalakirti (Renowned for Purity) was a contemporary of Gautama Buddha <br />
				and a lay bodhisattva. The translation of sutras was central to the<br />
				spread of Buddhism during the Han Dynasty and then later during the Tang resurgence. Notice how heavy the strokes are, yet<br />
				Wang Xiangguo is able to maintain a graceful and elegant feeling. In Regular script strokes should have identity with <br />
				clear space defining their relationship. The character should be centered on an imaginary square to achieve balance. The <br />
				Virmalakirti Nirdesa sutra was translated by Wu Ze. The scroll dates from 393 AD, the fifth year of Linjia's reign during the<br />
				 Later Liang Dynasty.</font>
