								designated name, Changshuo </font><font size="-0" color="white" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">昌硕</font><font size="-1" color="white" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">, which he used as his name after the age of 70. He was a native of Anji, Zhejiang province but<br>
									moved to Shanghai. Peonies lend themselves particularly well to the softer boneless style.<br>
									These album leaves were completed in 1905 at the end of the Qing Dynasty when Wu Changshuo was 62.<br>
