  23. <p>The adverb <span class="hanzi">比较</span> (<span class="pinyin">bǐjiào</span>) can be used to express "<b>quite</b>," "<b>rather</b>," or "<b>relatively</b>." It's a way of comparing one thing with a general idea instead of comparing two concrete things.</p>
