  21. 多 (duō) can be compared to 很 (hěn) in this case. If you use 很 (hěn) instead of 多 (duō), the meaning is basically the same. However 很 (hěn) is also used to make [[simple "noun + adjective" sentences]], which might not be exclamatory at all, whereas 多 (duō) is used only for excited exclamations.
