- <span xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase"><em xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase">чайник</em></span> small teapot which
- sits on top of the samovar, where it stays warm. Russians make tea by
- pouring the tea concentrate into a cup or glass and diluting it with
- boiling water. You'll often be asked: «<span xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase"><em xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase">Вам
- покрепче, или послабее?</em></span>» "Do you like yours strong or
- weak?"</p><p>If you're purchasing any type of antiques in the <span xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase"><em xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase">комиссионный</em></span> secondhand store or
- <span xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase"><em xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase">художественный салон</em></span> art
- gallery/store, be sure you ask if what you're buying may be taken out of
- the country. Use the phrase «<span xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase"><em xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase">Это можно
- вывозить из страны?</em></span>» You may have to ask for a specific
- type of receipt from the store and you may also need to obtain other
