- <span class="bold"><strong><span xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase"><em xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase">ча́йник</em></span></strong></span> small
- teapot which sits on top of the samovar, where it stays warm. Russians make tea by pouring the
- tea concentrate into a cup or glass and diluting it with boiling water. You'll often be asked:
- «<span class="bold"><strong><span xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase"><em xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase">Вам покре́пче, или
- послабе́е?</em></span></strong></span>» "Do you like yours strong or weak?"</p><p>If you're purchasing any type of antiques in the <span class="bold"><strong><span xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase"><em xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase">комиссио́нный</em></span></strong></span> secondhand store or <span class="bold"><strong><span xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase"><em xml:lang="ru" class="foreignphrase">худо́жественный салон</em></span></strong></span>
- art gallery/store, be sure you ask if what you're buying may be taken out of the country. Use
